Hey...

My name is Tori :) and I am a neurodivergent therapist here at Heartstone! I strive to create a safe and supportive space for my clients, where we can explore their authentic selves, including their strengths, emotions, and goals. I work with individuals of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds. I believe that every person is beautifully unique, which is why I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques into my clinical work (neurodivergent-affirming, person-centered, feminist, narrative, parts work, motivational interviewing, mindfulness modalities, and somatic techniques).

Clinical Therapist

I have a Master’s of Art in Mental & Clinical Health Counseling from Aquinas College and currently practice here as a Limited Licensed Counselor. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Women’s Studies. I became a therapist because of my desire to help others live authentic and genuine lives and to advocate for social change. I recognize the validity and worth of all neurotypes and specialize in working with neurodivergency, including Autism, ADHD, OCD, PDA, Anxiety, and PTSD, as well as supporting fellow members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. While I primarily work with young adults (18-30 years old), I also have experience with child-centered play therapy and can take on children on a case-by-case basis.

Since neurodiversity often involves intersecting challenges and experiences, I am dedicated to supporting a diverse range of individuals in their unique journeys by empowering them to achieve their set goals. I will work with you to harness your unique strengths and support you in embracing all aspects and parts that make you who you are. As a late diagnosed neurodivergent person, I understand the pressures and trauma that society’s neurotypical norms and structures impose on us. While using a trauma-informed lens, I may address issues related to social structures, equality, oppression, and social justice during our time together. I view our relationship as one of equals and will try to maintain an egalitarian space as much as possible. I trust you as the expert of your life and am here to assist you in your healing and growth journey.
